A new beginning...

This afternoon on my drive home from school I took in the fresh aroma of the honey suckles.That definitely has to be one of my favorite smells of the Springtime.I feel different in a way.Its kind of hard to explain.I've become more distant from things of this world(which is a great thing for me).I feel set apart.Like God is re-renovating my life...so I don't see the changes.But can we see the wind?No,but we can see the effects of it.Something is different and I can't quite put my finger on it.Sure,I'm still the same Rebecca that God created and formed me to be.I make mistakes.I'm human,(Just for those of you who were wondering)who knew?All of that just sums me up and makes me who I am.Every cell down to my intricate details(if that even makes sense).I've grown tired and weary in this life.With that I'm reminded of the Scripture in Isaiah 40:31 which says:"but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.They will soar on wings like eagles;they will run and not grow weary,they will walk and not be faint."I want that for my life.I want that closeness with the Lord that I used to have.I feel Him tearing down these walls piece by piece.It takes time and patience.Which I'm so thankful He has all the time and patience to offer.We certainly do serve The loving God.With all this being said,Father I ask you to continue to tear me down so you can rebuild yourself in me again.Help me to give up and find rest in you.You are peace.You are exactly what I need to make it to the end so I can start a new beginning with you.

And Congrats to my wonderful best friend Vanessa on finding out she is having a baby girl!I'm so excited to spoil that baby girl.I'm sure I'll be her favorite Aunt. ;)
This evening has just been filled with greatness.After all God's mercies are new every day.
